Administrative Assistant to the CEO

Provide primary administrative support for the CEO’s office, including projects, daily operations, and board support.  Attend board and committee meetings, maintain minutes in compliance with bylaw requirements, and, under the direction of the CEO, distribute data as needed to ensure a consistent and accurate flow of information throughout the organization.  Assist in the administration of board governance, prepare board calendar, and awareness of scheduling and timing of events and meetings. Works with all departments to facilitate Museum operations, projects, and events.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position and includes a benefits package including PTO, paid holidays, medical plan contribution, and 403(b) plan.

Requirements

College degree; administrative experience; self-starter who is well organized with excellent communication and computer skills; ability to advance projects through systematic planning.

Volunteer

The Hyde’s volunteers provide meaningful support to the Museum’s programming and activities. Volunteers make it possible for The Hyde to offer educational programming for students of all ages, plan exciting trips and social events, and deliver an exceptional experience to our visitors.

 

Internships

Volunteer Gardeners

Every other Monday, 8am – 9:30am
Call now to volunteer for the Spring!

We are looking for volunteer gardeners to help out in The Hyde Butterfly garden this spring. No experience needed. You will be working with others who will help you get started. Activities include maintaining the flower beds, weeding, and some watering. Please bring your own kneeling pad, gloves, bucket for weeds, a trowel, and a claw (hand cultivator).
