Flora and Fauna: Jane Peterson Style Review and discuss Jane Peterson’s imagery of flowers and plants, then visit Hyde House courtyard to create sketches from live plant life. Participants will then learn how to transform sketches into watercolor paintings in the Art Studio.
Bookmaking: Join Museum Educator and artist Jenny Hutchinson in the Art Studio to try your hand at bookmaking. Inspired by the Nuremberg and Augsburg Chronicles, participants will learn to make a decorative artist book used for presenting special mementos or pictures, or as the perfect holiday gift. All supplies included; no experience necessary.
Photographic Inspiration: Explore how photography can be used as a tool to enhance your drawing practice with Museum Educator and artist Keri Dudek. The group will practice cropping and editing using drawing techniques that are simple and efficient.
