For Adults

Docent-led Tours
Themed tours available Friday – Sunday at 1pm. Docents will lead tours focus on one of four themes:
1. American Art and Artists
2. Dutch and Flemish Art
3. Fables, Myths, and Legends
4. The Renaissance

Hyde House Tours
General docent-led tours are available Friday – Sunday at 2 pm
All tours meet in the Museum lobby and are free with museum admission.

Dial and Discover Guide by Cell Audio Tour
Take a self-guided tour of Hyde House. Use your cell phone to learn about the Museum’s history and collection. Call 518-832-1189 and follow the instructions. Free, except for cell phone minutes.

For Children

Discovery Guide
Each month, a new guide is available to families to use in exploring special exhibitions or Hyde House. Pick up your free Discovery Guide at the Program Desk anytime the Museum is open.

Family Kits
Specially designed to enhance discussion about what children see when touring Hyde House, our Family Kits provide an opportunity for an interactive self-guided tour for the entire family. Families can borrow the colorful kits free of charge. Use them to learn more about visiting a museum and about different ways to view and enjoy what they see. Ask a Hyde Volunteer or Museum Store staff for the kit.
