The Hyde Collection will present the 2013 Artists of the Mohawk-Hudson Region exhibition in the fall of 2013. The Hyde joins the Albany Institute of History and Art and the University Art Museum at the University at Albany as the third collaborative sponsor of this long-standing exhibition, hosted by the three organizations on a rotating basis.

The exhibition will take place from October 13 through December 29, 2013. Founded in 1936, Artists of the Mohawk-Hudson Region is one of the oldest regionals in the country and provides a leading benchmark for contemporary art in the Upper Hudson Valley.

For the 2013 exhibition, The Hyde has invited Dan Cameron, Chief Curator at the Orange County Museum of Art, to be the juror. In the past, he has organized numerous group and solo exhibitions including retrospectives of Carolee Schneemann, William Kentridge, Paul McCarthy, Faith Ringgold, Carroll Dunham, and Cildo Meireles. In 2003, Cameron served as Artistic Director for the 8th Annual Istanbul Biennial, and in 2006 he organized the 10thTaipei Biennial.
