Student Tours

STUDENT TOURS

The Hyde Collection welcomes schools or groups with school age students (pre-K through college) to engage with our permanent collection and special exhibition spaces. Education staff is happy to customize our tour activities to meet the needs of the students and goals of their school curriculum.

Student tours offer guided observation and discussion. By fostering an environment of analysis and reasoning we enhance a student’s knowledge of art, as well as their visual literacy skills. We also offer a variety of hands on activities that foster fine motor development and creative problem solving skills.

School tours are free of charge to students. This is made possible through the generosity of our donors.

For more information, please contact Jenny Hutchinson, museum educator, at 518-792-1761 ext. 327, or jhutchinson@hydecollection.org
