Selected from the private collection of Werner Feibes and Jim Schmitt, this exhibition presented fifty-five works by thirty-five important European and American artists of the twentieth century. Comprised of paintings, collage, drawings, and sculptures completed between 1914 to 2000, this exhibition included works by artists such as: Josef Albers, Jean Arp, Giacomo Balla, Wassily Kandinsky, Keith Haring, Grace Hartigan, Sol LeWitt, Robert Motherwell, Louise Nevelson, Man Ray, Isamu Noguchi, Bridget Riley, and Andy Warhol. A fully illustrated catalogue with an essay by Ken Johnson, a New York Times art critic and frequent contributor to Art in America, may still be available at The Hyde Collection's Museum Store.
